Ashran Bahari is a founding collective member of KARYA, established in 2007, and co-founder of the design practice studiokarya in 2014. His professional experience spans regional practice in Singapore and Malaysia, having worked with Interconsultants Pte Ltd in Singapore and later with C’Arch Architecture and Design, Malaysia.
Actively engaged in architectural discourse and education, Ashran regularly participates in design reviews at local universities and most recently served as a member of the External Advisory Committee for the Department of Architecture at Sunway University. Beyond practice, he was the starting member of Non School, an online platform for alternative architectural learning, and co-founder of Suburbia Projects, an architecture publisher and books retailer.
NAADIYA HANI MOKHTAR

Naadiya Hani is a collective member of KARYA, from 2007, and rejoined studiokarya as Director in 2022. She trained and developed her architectural background with leading firms in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, including Lua Architects Associates, Juteras Design Workshop, and Ministry of Design.
Her work on Masjid Cyberjaya 10 with Juteras Design Workshop has received multiple accolades, including Gold at the PAM Awards 2019 and the ARCASIA Architecture Award in the Public and Institutional Building category.
Alongside professional practice, Naadiya is a part-time lecturer in Interior Architecture at Taylor’s University. She is the co-founder and leads publication and production at Suburbia Projects, an architecture publisher, and is actively involved in advocacy initiatives such as A Better Seapark.
